Experience
Vishal has over 24 years of experience in the field of Tax & Transaction Structuring. He is the Founder of Aurtus Consulting. Prior to founding Aurtus Consulting, he was a Partner at KPMG and one of the co-founders of Dhruva Advisors LLP. Vishal has also worked in organizations such as PwC and RSM. He has worked on marque M&A transactions, Corporate reorganizations, Family succession matters and complex regulatory issues. His area of expertise also includes devising succession structures, advising on domestic / international tax issues and structures for inbound and outbound investments. Over his career, he has worked with clients across industries ranging from Infrastructure, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals to Tech start-ups, Telecom, Fintech, Financial Services, etc.
Vishal has regularly featured in the list of top tax professionals in India in the survey conducted by the International Tax Review. He has also been part of various professional committees in the past, namely, International Tax Committee of Bombay Chartered Accountants Society and Chamber of Tax Consultants as well as the Research & Publication Committee of Western India Regional Council of the Chartered Accountants of India.
Vishal has been a frequent speaker at various tax forums such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India , Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society, Chamber of Tax Consultants, etc. He has co-authored books on diverse topics such as MLI, Transfer Pricing, LLP, International Tax matters, etc and regularly contributes articles in various publications and newspapers, etc. In his free time, Vishal loves reading and is a movie buff. Music and Travel are his other hobbies.
