Experience

Chintan has post qualification experience of over 11 years in the field of Indirect Taxes & Foreign Trade Policy. Prior to joining Aurtus Consulting, he has worked at Dhruva Advisors and Deloitte. He has been advising clients on Indirect Taxes and Foreign Trade Policy across industries consisting of Manufacturing, Real Estate, Logistics, Power, Infrastructure, Ports, Pharmaceuticals, IT, Consumer products, etc. He specialises in litigation under GST, Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax laws, including appearances before Tribunal, Appellate Authority, Adjudicating Authority, and Advance Ruling Authority. He has made representation before the Policy Relaxation Committee (part of the Foreign Trade Policy)

Chintan has been a Member of the Indirect Taxes Committee for the Ahmedabad Branch of ICAI for FY 2019-20. He acted as Group Leader consecutively 3 times in Residential Refresher Course (RRC) organised by the Ahmedabad Branch of ICAI. He has authored articles published on tax discussion portals like GSTSutra, Taxindiaonline, TaxGuru. In leisure, Chintan loves watching movies and web series. Travelling is also one of his hobbies.
